Not Me! Promotional Postcards

These promotional postcards have just arrived in the post from my publisher, Egmont. They come in a set of 6 featuring all the characters from Not Me! and are die-cut so that the characters can stand up. I'm really pleased with them - they're printed on uncoated card so that they have quite a retro feel. They will be sent out to bookshops and libraries to help promote the book.

The countdown begins!

Yes, it's exactly one month today until 'Not Me!' will be in the shops in the UK - its release date is 3rd May. I will be attempting to do a bit of a count down here on my blog - though if my blogging so far is anything to go by it will be fairly sporadic!

Children's Bookseller

Sorry about the lack of posts over the last few weeks. Things have been all over the place due to work, illness and moving studio but I'm hoping to be a bit better about keeping up to date over the coming weeks. I had a very nice email yesterday from someone who had seen an advert for Not Me! in this month's Children's Bookseller. I hadn't seen it myself but found it online and did a quick screen grab so I could share it! Not long now till it's out......

I did a presentation about Not Me! to a sales meeting at the publishers yesterday. I prepared these images so that I could show the process of adding line and then have "one that I made earlier"!

Proofs of Not Me

I got the new proofs for Not Me! a few days ago so I thought I'd post a scan of the cover. It will be coming out at the beginning of May 2010 and is being published by Egmont UK.

Have had this image floating around on my desktop for a while - a friend very kindly flagged it up on the internet for me. It's a photo from the Bologna book fair 2009 where my first book was being shown (in a very basic dummy) for the first time!
